A national campaign utilizing research by The Optimization Group has won the 2010 Advertising Research Foundation Grand Ogilvy Award for Excellence in Advertising Research.  Campbell-Ewald, who developed the winning campaign, partnered with Optimization Group to provide advertising research for the United States Postal Service, “A Simpler Way to Ship” campaign.

According to Jeff Ewald, President and Founder of Optimization Group, “When it comes to advertising research, this is like winning an Oscar.  We were excited when Campbell-Ewald chose Optimization Group as a partner on this project and we’re thrilled about the award.”

The ARF David Ogilvy Awards honor extraordinary and/or creative uses of research in advertising development.  The winning campaigns provide a keen understanding of how research can be used to create powerful, profitable campaigns. Optimization Group provided Campbell-Ewald with a variety of sophisticated concept testing techniques in the development of the Postal Services campaign.

Named after advertising legend David Ogilvy, The ARF David Ogilvy Awards for Excellence in Advertising Research annually celebrate his spirited advocacy of research in making good advertising better, recognizing the role of consumer research in creating successful advertising.

The awards were presented 3/23 at the Marriott Marquis NYC.
