FCC Commissioner Michael O’Rielly notes that the scourge of broadcast piracy, most often committed on the FM dial, needs to be fought, and also admits that the battle doesn’t seem to be a high priority for the FCC at the moment. So maybe broadcaster attorneys can step into the breach.
He also noted recent comments that closing down field offices will likely make matters even worse.
