Orlando Class A heads for the Barba shop

WZXZ-CA is getting a new owner, and indeed this may be the perfect time to pick up a Class A television station in prime spectrum territory such as Orlando FL. Carlos Barba’s CaribeVision is picking it up from L4 Media Group for $1.8M, and it may be worth every penny and more if FCC Chairman Kevin Martin is successful in his plan to extend cable must-carry status to Class A television stations. CaribeVision, which owns full power television stations in Puerto Rico and has LPTVs in Miami and outside New York City in East Orange NJ, will pay cash for the station.
