Owner hanging around after the sale

Even after he sells the station, Timothy Lee Williams will continue to be a rather obvious presence at WAAO-FM in Andalusia AL, located in unrated territory near the Florida border. He’ll have $1.25M in present and future proceeds in exchange for the station, coming from Blaine L. Wilson’s Three Notch Communications. $5K of that will be in the form of a consulting/non-competition agreement. He’ll also be on hand for an early morning airshift for at least a year (at the pleasure of the buyer). He’ll earn $15/hour during the first three months and $20/hour thereafter, according to the contract filed with the FCC.
