In the spirit of flexibility, FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai says he’s changing his proposed edits to the draft AM revitalization order circulating on the eighth floor of the Portals.
Pai, who has been a staunch advocate for AM and for a special AM-only window for owners to apply for an FM translator, is aligning with colleague Commissioner Mignon Clyburn, to support the waiver to allow a one-time 250-mile FM translator hop.
