SoldLawrence Rogow and Paul Koplin are adding to their wide-ranging television group, Loop Media LLC, with a deal for KKKK-CA Indio CA. Indio is a community on the outskirts of Palm Springs CA.

The seller is Park Place Broadcasting Company, headed by Leo Kesselman.

The price will be $225K cash.

Loop is making sure that the station will not fall prey to the FCC’s apparent heightened scrutiny of Class A stations – the contract stipulates that KKKK-CA is in compliance will all applicable regulations including public file and children’s programming obligations.

The other stations listed in the Loop portfolio are all full power outlets. WNYA-TV Pittsfield MA is in the Albany-Schenectady-Troy NY area; KVME-TV Bishop CA is in an unrated area between the Nevada state line and Fresno; KBCB-TV Bellingham WA is north of Seattle and closer to Canadian city Vancouver BC; WHTV-TV Jackson MI is near Lansing; and WAOE-TV Peoria IL is in, well, Peoria.
