Over half of the daily listening on Pandora is on smartphones. With over 65 million registered listeners in the US, this represents a significant local mobile audience in every market around the country. So Pandora has unveiled an easier way for small and medium-size businesses to create and launch campaigns on mobile devices via an expanded turnkey solution. Pandora’s partnership with AdReady now allows advertisers to build mobile banners for advertisers at no additional cost. AdReady specializes in software solutions for digital display advertising.

Local and regional businesses now have access to a streamlined campaign implementation process to run localized campaigns on Pandora’s mobile apps. The expansion allows businesses, from universities and banks to car dealerships and entertainment venues, to directly reach and connect with local consumers across multiple platforms.

“For UMassOnline, the primary factors that drew us to showcase our brand on Pandora Internet radio are the ability to broadcast our message in an environment that is free of competitive clutter and to directly connect with our target of potential online learners,” said Jennifer Brady, associate VP of business development, UMassOnline. “Pandora eliminated obstacles we had dealt with in the past and through their turnkey solution were able to deliver highly targeted audio inventory to geographically relevant listeners for UMassOnline.”

Added Pandora VP/Sales, Brian Mikalis: “We know that display and audio advertising is working for our regional clients on the web, so we’re very excited to now offer the same advertising opportunities on our mobile platforms.”
