Pandora Media’s Q1 loss narrowed on a jump in advertising and subscription revenue that outpaced content/royalty costs. The Q1 loss was $28.9 million, or 14 cents a share, compared with a prior-year loss of $38.7 million, or 22 cents a share. Excluding stock-based compensation and other items, the adjusted loss narrowed to 13 cents from 18 cents. Total revenue for the quarter was $194.3 million, a 69% YOY increase. Ad revenue was $140.6 million, a 45% YOY increase.
