Viacom-owned Paramount Television has hired a SVP/Development for the division, while also naming two Development VPs — all of whom will report to EVP/Head of Development Jenna Santoianni.

Taking the SVP role is Brian Segna; Kate Gill and Nicole Harjo will each hold the roles of VP/Development.

“I am thrilled by the addition of these three incredible executives to our stable,” Santoianni said late Monday. “Their innovative taste and copious experience will be pivotal in developing our already-robust slate as Paramount Television continues to scale rapidly. I can’t wait to see what projects and new talent they bring to our diverse offerings.”

Segna joins the team from Universal Cable Productions, where he served as Vice President of Scripted Television Development. While there, he worked on a number of series and pilots including, “Nightflyers” for Syfy/Netflix, “Pearson” for USA Network, “Channel Zero” for Syfy, and two series in the works for Hulu based on the George R.R. Martin book “Wild Cards,” among others. Prior to that he was Vice President of Scripted Television Development for ITV Studios America, where he was part of the initial team to launch a U.S.-based scripted division of ITV Studios.

Harjo was previously Vice President of Television at The Kennedy/Marshall Company.

Gill joins Paramount Television from YouTube Originals where she was a Scripted Development and Current executive.
