With a hearing name clearly setting the stage for a rancorous virtual affair, the House Subcommittee on Communications and Technology — led by Pai Commission foe Michael Doyle of Pennsylvania — conducted a FCC Oversight Hearing steeped in broadband access discussion and debate.
That didn’t stop the House Energy & Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) from taking a swipe at Ajit Pai‘s “modernization” efforts, which he sums up as “allowing big media conglomerates to eat up small, local stations.”
