The foolproof method to avoid those who prey in the murky depths of the internet is to always physically type in into your browser, rather than following a link provided by a third party or by attempting to “google up” the FCC. The genuine FCC website has a prominently displayed click-in option called “FY 2008 REGULATORY FEES.” These simple precautions should keep your confidential information safe.
