Pink Floyd filed suit against EMI for allegedly breaking an agreement that requires the label to sell the band’s music only as albums and not individual tracks. The legendary band says that EMI knowingly allowed individual songs to be purchased on such online music sites as iTunes and Amazon.com instead of exclusively as albums. EMI denies any wrongdoing, saying that the agreement between the label and the band covers physical albums and not digital sales.
