Broadcasting won’t be affected, nor will any part of the company’s media holdings, but McGraw-Hill is cutting 395 staffers to save money in the face of the tight economy. 246 positions will be eliminated in the Financial Services division and 149 at McGraw-Hill Education. In all, the company says it will incur a pre-tax restructuring charge of $23.7 million in Q2.
