In April 2019, one of the most significant foreign ownership petitions to arrive at the FCC saw a Mexican multimedia giant file the paperwork necessary to gain full control of four stations once a part of Border Media Partners’ 33-station stable.
Now, the public will have their say in the matter, putting them in control of whether or not R Communications can spin three FMs and an AM to a U.S. subsidiary of Multimedios.
