Political buy delays first pitch

If the World Series goes to six games, Major League Baseball has agreed to delay the start of the game by a few minutes, to no earlier than 8:35 pm. That will allow Fox to air a half-hour political pitch from Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) on October 29th. The Democratic presidential candidate is also in talks to buy the same time slot on ABC. According to the Los Angeles Times, Fox sold the 8:00-8:30 pm ET block to the Obama campaign for just under $1 million. Oh, and Fox also said if the Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) campaign is interested, it can make a similar deal.
