The President/CEO of a Miami-base talent management and PR firm who began his professional career as a furniture gallery sales manager has been given full permission to assist in the management of all on-air talent at a leading Spanish-language television network.

Francisco Ponce now holds the role of VP/On-Air Talent Management at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. He remains based in Miami, and is charged with overseeing on-air talent relations, helping to develop and executive a unified on-air talent strategy. Ponce joined Telemundo in April; official word of his arrival came June 6.

Ponce reports to Telemundo Networks and Studios EVP/Talent and Production Management Services Claudia Foghini.

Ponce most recently served as President/CEO of In2ition Entertainment, a Latin and cross-over talent management agency that saw him work alongside William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME), Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and United Talent Agency (UTA).

In coordination with the network’s publicity department, Ponce will help facilitate the promotion of Telemundo and Universo on-air talent across all NBCUniversal platforms. He will also work closely with the sales teams to identify and coordinate on-air talent for partnership opportunities.

From 1995-1998, Ponce was a Sales Manager for El Dorado Furniture, a major Miami-based chain. In 1998, he began his entertainment industry career by becoming a manager and agent for Pop Media Group, which later joined forces with Gloria and Emilio Estefan. He created In2ition in 2005.
