KFXX-Portland RadiothonEntercom’s KFXX “ESPN Sports Radio 1080 The FAN” Portland’s finished up their 3rd Annual radiothon with over $120,000 raised for Special Olympics Oregon. The 28-hour radiothon was anchored by The FAN’s afternoon hosts Isaac Ropp and Jason Scukanec of Primetime with Isaac and Big Suke.

“We can’t thank our listeners enough. They stepped again and beat last year’s record by more than $45,000,” said Scukanec. “Portland is special community and this is very special cause.  We talk about sports and high-powered athletes everyday, but these Olympians are the real athletes.  They are the real champions and we are privileged to honor their spirit and dedication.”

“We are honored to partner with ESPN Sports Radio 1080 The FAN,” said Special Olympics Oregon chief development officer Kim Bergstrom. “Isaac and Suke’s radiothon helps raise funds to support year-round sports training and competition opportunities for thousands of individuals with intellectual disability. In addition, they generate immeasurable awareness of the importance of Special Olympics Oregon programs for athletes and their families.”

“We’re proud to partner with Special Olympics Oregon,” said Entercom program director Jeff Austin. “The overwhelming support of the FAN staff, our listeners, and advertisers was essential to surpassing our goal, and a testament to the bond Isaac and Suke have with their audience.”
