RadioShow NAB/RABWe’ve told you about Portable People Meter-related sessions slated for the upcoming NAB/RAB Radio Show.


Now more details are coming out about those exhibit hall theater presentations.

Nielsen plans an update from EVP & Managing Director of Local Client Services Matt O’Grady and Chief Engineer Arun Ramaswamy on its Critical Band Encoding Technology; enhancements are due in the fourth quarter.

Geoff Steadman, vice president and founder of Telos Alliance company 25-Seven Systems plans to discuss new monitoring capabilities for measuring watermark quality while Telos Systems Software Engineer Ioan Rus looks at modern streaming audio technologies.

NAB Senior Director of Advanced Engineering David Layer will take attendees through the latest on all-digital AM HD Radio testing, market research on FM chip activation in smartphones and more.

The show is Sept. 30-Oct. 2 in Atlanta.
