PremierePremiere Networks and CMT say the one-hour, Country music and entertainment program will feature the latest news, information and interviews with artists, along with the top Country music songs. Available to Country music stations beginning the weekend of 3/22, the show will also be heard on iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio mobile app.

Said Alan: “We’re building CMT All Access as the ultimate one-stop weekend show for fans who want the latest on what’s happening in country music – plus, A-list interviews and all the behind the scenes exclusives we can pack into one hour.  It’s going to be fun!”

“Cody’s long-standing connection to today’s Country artists and their music is the key to this exciting new weekend program,” stated Darren Davis, President, Clear Channel Networks. “Cody has a powerful relationship with listeners across platforms, and we can’t wait to share this additional Premiere Networks programming with audiences nationwide.”

Featuring the hottest headlines in Country music and pop-culture, iHeartRadio CMT Updates, is set to be distributed twice daily, beginning Monday, 3/24. The updates will launch on iHeartRadio and CCME Country stations nationwide.

In November, CCME and CMT announced a multi-platform partnership, which also includes CMT After MidNite and the nightly program CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan. All three programs, as well as the daily updates, will originate from the CMT studio in Nashville.

RBR-TVBR observation: Similar to Cumulus’ NASH Country partnership with Country Weekly magazine, a planned NASH TV show and a possible deal with a cable network, these companies are rounding up as much multi-platform resources as possible to increase ratings and reach into the stable of Country performers and their fans. Expect this to be done with other formats as well.
