Excluding sports, “The Office” matched NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in the time period since May 20, during the May sweep and delivered NBC’s biggest overall audience in the half-hour since that same date.
From 8:30-9 p.m. ET, another encore of “The Office” averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers overall, building on its result in the prior half-hour by 22 percent in 18-49 rating. “The Office” filed NBC’s highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period since May 20, excluding sports.
From 9-11 p.m. ET, the premiere of “The Apprentice” averaged a 1.5/5 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall. In the time period, “The Apprentice” ranked #2 among the major networks in men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. From its first half-hour to its fourth, “The Apprentice” grew by 14 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.4).
For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., “The Apprentice” was #2 among the major networks in adults 18-34 and women 18-34 and #1 among men 18-34, airing against CBS’s “Mentalist” encore and the concluding hour of ABC’s rebroadcast of the “Grey’s Anatomy” season finale.
