Hill Hullabaloo Over Broadband’s Title II Classification Kill


WASHINGTON, D.C. — With Democratic House members now in control, it was only inevitable that matters of interest to them — seemingly resolved by GOP-powered votes in the last Congress — would reemerge as part of the never-ending bipartisan tussle that defines modern-day politics on Capitol Hill.

On Thursday, the #SubCommTech wing of the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee held a hearing on “Preserving an Open Internet for Consumers, Small Businesses, and Free Speech.” Democrats and Republicans had something to say. So did TechFreedom, following the hearing.
