The station, a Class A licensed on 107.9 MHz with 1 kW @ 659’, is fetching an impressive $465K cash. This after it was transferred from Ted Tucker Jr.’s Skywest Media to Ted Tucker Sr. and Jana Tucker’s Cochise Media back in September 2010 in a 4354K debt forgiveness transaction.
The buyer for the station is JJS Media Inc., headed by Martha Ponce and Jaime AJuaristi.
The station is due south of Tucson but is not part of that market. It is not far from Nogales near the US border with Mexico.
