With iHeartMedia‘s rollout of BIN: Black Information Network, several critically important African American markets were absent from the mix. On August 31, Philadelphia; Baltimore; and Montgomery, Ala.; were added to the mix via LMA agreements with three respective AM radio station owners.
At the same time, iHeartMedia acquired a station serving the National Capital Region. Details regarding its acquisition, brokered by Kalil & Co., are now publicly known.
