Following its best year yet of primetime delivery in its target demos, truTV is expanding its original programming and development group.  The changes include a newly expanded role for Robyn Hutt, pictured, who has been named Senior Vice President of Original Programming, and Anthony Horn, now Senior Vice President of Current Series and Specials.

As part of the department’s expansion on the production side, executive producer David Dean will head up truTV’s brand-new Los Angeles production office.  In addition, truTV has expanded New York-based executive producer Angel Annussek’s role to include editorial director.  truTV has also hired executive producers Mark Anstendig and Mark Powell, who will be based in New York.

Meanwhile, Marissa Ronca, who was named vice president of development for truTV in May 2010, has hired Mathew Baxt as director of development.  He will work with development consultant Paul Hardy to help foster new programming for the network.

“truTV is enjoying its best deliveries ever in key demographics as our original programming continues to drive revenue and expand reach. These important moves reflect truTV’s leading position as a network with all original programming,” said Darren Campo, Senior Vice President of Programming, Production and Development.
