The down year is no surprise to anyone at this point, but the Radio Advertising Bureau has quantified the decline of revenues for the radio industry — down 9% for the year and 11% in Q4. The only gain was in off-air revenue, up 7% for the year. Network was flat, national spot down 12% and local spot 10%. Unfortunately, reports thus far are that 2009 is starting out even worse.
