A three-judge panel of the Copyright Royalty Board issued new streaming music royalty rates for 2016-2020 late Wednesday and it appears to be good news for broadcasters.
The new rate for commercial nonsubscription services in 2016 is $0.0017, or 17 cents per 100 streams.
