Bohn & Associates Media announced that it will join forces with SparkNet Communications effective January 1st, 2010. The merger will create a giant in the Canadian radio industry, which will continue to operate internationally as well.
The merger brings together Canada’s leading broadcast consultancy, Bohn & Associates Media , with more than 25 years at the center of the Canadian radio industry, and SparkNet Communications, the driving force behind the success of the JACK FM and Playing What We Want radio brands in the United States and Europe.
Under the direction of Pat Bohn and Garry Wall, the new SparkNet said it will “continue to offer unparalleled industry awareness, expertise and innovation with a recognized focus on client engagement.” The licensing, marketing and consulting company will operate in Canada, the US and abroad with a head office in Vancouver.
Since 1985, Bohn & Associates Media has helped clients navigate new paths to programming and ratings success and in the process has been involved in creating some of Canada’s leading radio brands. These include CHFI and 680 News Toronto, Q92 Montreal and JACK FM.
As SparkNet Communications, the company said it will continue to serve and advocate for the interests of Canadian broadcasters and the music industry.
