Radio Disney spins another AM

Disney has been systematically spinning off its children’s-formatted radio station group piece by piece, and now another piece is on its way out the door. KMUS-AM Sperry OK, serving the Tulsa market, is the latest station with a buyer.

And the buyer is Radio Los Americas LLC, headed by Antonio Perez. RLA will spend $300K cash to pick up the station.

KMUS is a Class B on 1380 kHz, operating with 7.5 kW-D, 250 W-N, DA2.

The buyer is getting its first radio station, but not its first station period. It’s already active in the Tulsa market with LPTV station KXAP-LD.
