In September 2019, Entercom Communications experienced a cyber-attack. It was heavily reported on by the radio industry trade press, but the company remained mum on a “digital platform disruption” until it finally acknowledged the cyber-attack during Entercom’s Q3 2019 earnings call held Nov. 8.
One week ago, it became known that the cyber-attack that took place six months ago also impacted Radio.com users. It took a filing made with the State of California in Sacramento to make the information public.
