Music-Old-RadioHere are some notes on a few things going on in the biz, including notification of another earnings conference, an agreement between radio nets and punishment for a pirate.

* Wednesday 11/12/14 is when Radio One comes together with interested party to discuss its Q3 performance. A conference call will commence at 10:00 AM eastern.

* Radio net Sun & Fun has for all intents and purposes entered into a JSA with Premiere Networks. The latter will handle advertising sales for the nearly 1,000-affiliate program service.

* The FCC says FM buccaneer Marc-Nus Charles of Pompano Beach FL was warned about broadcasting without a license, but went on 92.5 MHz airspace anyway. It’ll cost him $20K pursuant to a Notice of Apparent Liability that has been upgraded to a Forfeiture Order.

* Maserati North America is offering three months of free SiriusXM to buyers of two of its models – RBR-TVBR of course wonders why anybody who can afford a Maserati needs a free anything!
