Music-Old-RadioIn today’s tour through the wilds of radio news items, we find that YEA Networks has an affiliate relations rep; Tom Kent Radio is growing; Walt Disney Records love radio promo; and an internet radio program is finding an over-air home on an iHeart Wisconsin station.

* George Laughlin’s YEA Networks has engaged Tony Garcia and his Global Media Services to handle affiliate relations for its syndicated fare, including “The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show” and “The Bert Show.”

* Tom Kent Radio Network has added to its 450+ affiliate list with a trio of geographically scattered stations – one in Alabama, one in New York and another in South Dakota.

* Need more evidence that the music industry loves radio? Walt Disney Records is releasing a song called “Juntos (Together)” from star Latin musician Juanes, from the soundtrack of the movie “McFarland, USA” and they’re giving it away to Hispanic radio stations. Guess they’d like some airplay. Hmmmmm….

* TNMNews – an internet radio station covering marijuana news, has added a terrestrial radio affiliate. iHeartMedia’s WXXM-FM Madison WI now carries the program.
