Radio’s Top Advertisers: Present And Accounted For

There’s perhaps nothing more reassuring that seeing the names of nationally recognized brands appear week in and week out on a report illustrating who the top users of radio spots are across the U.S.

For the week ending October 14, two of the heaviest users of traditional media are at the top of the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Radio report.

Taking the top slot thanks to 44,364 spot plays during the week is GEICO.

They supplant The Home Depot in the No. 1 position, as the DIY hardware chain is No. 3, with 38,487 spins.

Powering in to the No. 4 position is Walgreens, as McDonald’s leads in the QSR category.

Other regular advertisers present in the latest report from Media Monitors include Lowe’s, the biggest rival to The Home Depot; Macy’s; and Staples.
