The Cox Media Group Louisville station will launch a new morning show on 1/3 on the New Lite 106.9 with the brothers and former radio morning show partners Jeff and John Ramsey. “The Ramsey Brothers” were first on the radio together on WRKA-FM Louisville in the 1980s. They started their careers together as touring stand-up comedians and last worked together as funnymen in 1997.
Jeff has been the host of Lite 106.9’s morning drive since 2008 and says that bringing his brother back into the studio with him is “a dream come true.”
Lite 106.9 OM Shane Collins says the show will be “a fun, positive, upbeat show that caters to hip, family-oriented women.”
The show is planning content that spotlights Louisville but doesn’t ignore the top pop culture stories of the day, while continuing to focus on playing the best music of the 80s, 90s and Now.
