Radio Ratings Scorecard and Commentary
By Clark Smidt – Broadcast Connector
Surprise! Research and response is spotlighting Radio’s continued strength. And oh my gosh, dropping FM/AM from cars is NOT a good plan nor consumer accepted idea. Who’s thinking what? Stevie VanZant in Lillehammer? (Great Show). Radio’s charge is to mix tried and true with strategy that’s new. Stations breathe, adapt, create environmental communication and project personality. It’s more than spread sheets and trying to out-guess ratings methodology. Latest trends offer a few more pieces to the puzzle of persistence: Creating non-stop great audio content and bringing the audience back for more.

For your review, here’s the “suitable for printing” RBR Score Card for February 26-March 25, with January/February/March trends. Per usual we can only share Nielsen subscribers 6+, so use your imagination and enjoy this round of PPM Markets Detroit #11 thru Denver #20:
