Ravens add new affiliate in DC

The Ravens have found a new radio home in Washington: Federal News Radio 1500 AM WFED will broadcast Ravens games throughout the 2010 season, Bonneville Radio/D.C. announced.

“We are excited to work with one of the NFL’s premier franchises,” Bonneville Radio D.C. senior regional vice president Joel Oxley said in a release. “This latest addition to our programming further increases WFED’s profile as the top place for radio play-by-play sports in the Mid-Atlantic.”

WFED will serve as an affiliate to the Ravens’ current radio network. If the Ravens play at the same time as a previously scheduled play-by-play broadcast on WFED, their games will air on 1050 AM, the station’s alternate sports signal.
