Larry Lewis is the President of the parent company of WTZT Television.
It’s the entity purchasing a low-power TV station serving the Tennessee Valley of northern Alabama, and the city of Athens, Ala.
The deal, which longtime local personality Jamie Cooper helped put together, brings Lewis into a whole new business: broadcast media. But, Cooper is mentoring Lewis, who with his wife Kim are also the newest minority owners of a TV station.
