Music streaming service Rdio unveiled what it says it’s a unique native advertising service that connects brands with music listeners.
Rdio and Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos are offering packages with custom branding for stations on Rdio’s free ad-supported service and paid subscriptions.
The companies will partner on curated Hard Rock branded station.
RBR+TVBR observation: It’s interesting that a streaming service is offering “Promoted Music Experiences,” something traditional radio already does, a nugget that AM/FM executives can use in their own advertising pitch.
