Broadcast owners have until March 29 to fish or cut bait and decide whether or not to take part in FCC’s upcoming spectrum auction.
In a notice the agency says initial commitments must be submitted prior to 6 p.m. Eastern on the 29th and late initial commitments will not be accepted.
The actual commitment window opens at 10 a.m. Eastern on March 28.
The commission is making a “module” of the auction process available to preview so owners can log in and see station lists for which applicants can make initial commitments well as each station’s relinquishment options. The preview period begins at 10 a.m. on March 24.
