Red Tide Continues For Media Stocks

The mood from investors in radio and TV companies so far in 2018 hasn’t been too bright, on an overall level.


With Monday’s Closing Bell on Wall Street, several key media companies were down.

Urban One, owner of TV One and Radio One, dipped 5 cents to $1.85.

Sinclair Broadcast Group was down 40 cents, to $34.70.

Beasley Broadcast GroupĀ declined 65 cents, to $13.30.

Meanwhile, Cumulus Media shares are at 6 1/2 cents each. Shares of iHeartMedia were off 1 cent, to $0.62.
