Deal
A swap-cash deal is bringing an extra voice on the FM dial to Petracom of Holbrook LLC, in exchange for one of Petracom’s AM voices. The deal, in the an unrated area in the east central part of the state pegs the FM at two times the value of the AM.

The other participant in the deal is New Directions Media, headed by Robert D. Zellmer. It is receiving KVSL-AM Show Low AZ for consideration pegged at $100K.

For $200K, Petracom gets KSNX-FM Heber AZ. New Directions is headed by Henry A. Ash.

Petracom will get a $100K credit for KVSL, has already paid a $20K for the option to purchase KSNX, will get credit for a portion of LMA payments and will pay whatever is left in cash at closing.

The primary contour of KSNX-FM falls between two clusters owned and operated by Petracom. To the north, the company has KZUA-FM, KZUZ-FM and KDJI-AM, all licensed to Holbrook AZ. To the south, it has KRFM-FM and KVWM-AM in Show Low. It of course also has KVSL-AM in that community, but the latter station is headed to New Directions as part of the compensation package for KSNX-FM.
