Religious radio licensee adds DIY project


SoldRedeemer Broadcasting has a noncom FM station serving the area north of Poughkeepsie NY, and now its getting another oriented south from there which when constructed will serve the area northwest of Newark NJ.

The station being bought does not yet have call letters. It will be licensed to the community of Taylortown NJ.

The seller is Calvary Chapel of Montclair, headed by George Hillman.

Redeemer Broadcasting is headed by Danny C. Elmendorf.

The price for the station will be $45K cash.

It’ll be a Class A on 90.3 MHz with 60 W @ 571’.

Redeemer Broadcasting’s up-and-running station is WFSO-FM Olivebridge NY, a Class A on 88.3 MHz with 80 W @ 108’. It’s programming is described as a “Blend of teaching and music with listener interaction.”

According to the contract, Roger Rafson’s CMS Brokerage worked on behalf of the seller.
