SoldAt least, Renaissance Broadcasting Inc. has agreed to sell the station, KDAV-AM. It’s going to veteran owner-operator Monte Spearman, along with Gentry Todd Spearman.

Suffice it to say that this is not one of those deals that is going to rock to corridors of high finance in the US M&A universe.

The Spearmans, under licensee name High Plains Radio Network Inc., are getting the station for $8,000.

The seller is headed by William R. Clement.

The deal is contingent on keeping the station alive. According to the contract, the seller agrees not to modify any station license, nor allow it to expire, nor surrender it, nor shall it the seller take any action that could result in suspension, revocation or limitation of rights under any licensee.

KDAV-AM is a Class B on 1590 kHz with 1 kW-U, DA2.
