Rentrak signs Pivot

RentrakMultiscreen measurement service Rentrak announced a multi-year TV Essentials contract with Pivot, Participant Media’s new network targeting Millennials (18-34 year-olds) and launching 8/1.


Pivot is focused on entertaining content that sparks conversation and inspires change through a mix of original series, acquired programming and TV premieres of films and documentaries. The network will use Rentrak’s TV measurement for audience and advertising research.

“The insight and intelligence that Rentrak provides will be an essential source of information and analysis as we work to create a unique TV experience tailored to Millennials,” said Pivot’s SVP of Research & Insights Karen Ramspacher.

Rentrak’s television ratings service is the only fully-integrated system of detailed satellite, telco and cable TV viewing information from approximately 25 million TVs nationwide including granular information for TV stations in all 210 local markets.
