The Senate Judiciary Committee has placed consideration of the reporters shield back on the agenda for its next business meeting, scheduled for Thursday, 11/19/09 at 10AM. Known as the Free Flow of Information Act of 2009, it is beneficiary of a compromise between key senators and the White House that was expected to grease the wheels for passage and signage into law. But apparently some members of this committee wanted more time to look over the revised version. We believe this marks its 11th appearance on the Senate Judiciary business meeting agenda. It shares the schedule with two nominations and six other bills.
