The return to in-person networking events and conferences has been exhilarating for “Zoom expert” and veteran public relations executive Rosemary Ravinal. “After many months of flats and garden clogs, my feet are sore from wearing high heels again,” she writes. But, she ads, “This is a small price to pay for the pleasure of networking in new and familiar business circles. Yet, the more events I attend the more I notice slight changes in the way people interact.”
The biggest change involves business cards. Many don’t have any fresh, post-COVID cards to hand out. Others, however, have used new technology to make their cards stand out — and make these professionals noticed.
