Lincoln Financial Media (LFM) sold its Charlotte stations to Greater Media in 2008 and Sr. VP/GM Rick Jackson stayed on with the new owner. Now, though, Jackson is returning to LFM as Sr. VP/GM of its four San Diego FMs. He succeeds Darrel Goodin, who exits the company.
Jackson will carry his other job along with him. Long before he got into management, his 35-year radio career began behind a mic. He’s really never left the on-air side. He is host of the nationally syndicated “Rick Jackson’s Country Hall of Fame” weekend show, which airs on more than 80 stations. As it happens, LFM’s KSON-FM San Diego is one of them.
There was no immediate word from Greater Media about a successor to Jackson in Charlotte.
