The US Copyright Office has begun an examination of the music licensing marketplace and has sought comment from interested parties. The RIAA responded to the request in its “Music Licensing Study: Notice and Request for Public Comment” NOI explaining why terrestrial radio should pay more in royalty payments. NAB and two other trade associations sent a letter to the Senate and House Judiciary Committees in response to the NOI as well:
