Retirement Living TV (RLTV), the only television network serving the needs of adults 50+, was announced as the winner of 5 Emmy Awards for their programming. RLTV joined more than 400 broadcasters who were gathered Saturday evening for The 51st Emmy Awards held at The Ritz-Carlton in DC.
A highlight of the evening was the surprise guest appearance of Oprah Winfrey, who came to honor her longtime colleague, Richard Sher (Television News Anchor/Reporter, Talk Show Host Emeritus WJZ-TV Baltimore), who was this year’s Ted Yates Award winner.
Awards for excellence were presented in 77 categories and RLTV’s winning entries were as follows:
