RNC uses radio to follow Obama to Florida

President Barack Obama and VP Joe Biden have each scheduled visits to Miami to raise funds for 2010, and the Republican National Committee has decided to use radio to tag along. Specifically, it is going Hispanic – welcoming the top administration officials to the city, and wondering why they are there raising funds rather than explaining job creating, health and spending policies.

RBR-TVBR observation: This amplifies one of the reasons we’re surprised radio isn’t used more in political sparring. It’s fast, efficient, highly targetable and affordable. In a tough battleground state like Florida, the RNC is not going to have to dig too deep into its campaign warchest to score some points with the politically volatile Cuban demo.
