The music of rock legend Bob Seger to play exclusively throught ‘Cold Case’ episode, Sunday, December 13.

Songs by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and GRAMMY® Award winner Bob Seger will be featured exclusively during the Dec. 13 episode of COLD CASE (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The featured Seger recordings are “Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man,” “Her Strut,” “Rock and Roll Never Forgets,” “Roll Me Away,” “Night Moves,” “Fire Down Below” and “Against the Wind.”  Seger has sold over 50 million albums and has 11 platinum and seven multi-platinum RIAA certified album sales awards.

“Bob Seger’s raw, honest voice is so evocative of working class America that the idea for an episode centered around the Miracle on Ice seemed like the perfect showcase for his songs,” said Taylor Elmore, who wrote this COLD CASE episode.   “A lot of Seger songs are about missed chances and lost opportunities.  They’re about mistakes made in the past and their consequences in the present — which in many ways is a theme of our show, and particularly this episode.”

Past single-artist episodes of COLD CASE featured the music of Ray Charles, John Lennon, Frank Sinatra, Nirvana, Johnny Cash, John Mellencamp, Bruce Springsteen, Tim McGraw, U2, Bob Dylan, Santana, and, in the two-part sixth season finale, Pearl Jam.

COLD CASE stars Kathryn Morris, Danny Pino, John Finn, Jeremy Ratchford, Thom Barry and Tracie Thoms.  It is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television.  Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Meredith Stiehm, Jennifer Johnson and Greg Plageman are the executive producers.
